Chignal Road.

This project is situated on the site of a former children’s hostel and adjacent to an arts and craft inspired children’s nursery, the practice designed a scheme of five individual dwellings. A recurring theme of glazed gables, steeply pitched roofs with substantial overhangs, together with a restrained palette of materials, creates a strong identity for this site. The design makes maximum use of the available volume with accommodation arranged over three floors.
